What Makes This a Portfolio

Six ecosystems, twenty-six communities, twelve conferences, one operating model.

Not a Collection of Isolated Groups

Community Stack is organised around ecosystems rather than disconnected user groups. Each community belongs to a clear technical domain, shares common standards, and benefits from shared operations, speakers, sponsors, content, discovery and governance.

Built Around Practitioner Audiences

Each ecosystem is designed around the people actually building, operating and leading technology in the field. Practitioners get relevant events and useful conversations. Speakers get access to the right audiences. Sponsors engage with coherent communities rather than scattered one-off events.

Fewer, Better, More Focused Events

The new model reduces overlap across the portfolio and focuses on higher-value community events, stronger leadership forums and more impactful conferences. The aim is not simply to run more events, but to build better rooms with clearer purpose.

How It Works

How the Ecosystem Model Works

Each ecosystem combines several types of activity, from regular community meetups to flagship conferences. This allows Community Stack to keep the community feel of local groups while creating a clearer, more scalable model for speakers, sponsors and partners.

Communities

Practitioner-led groups for people working in specific areas of technology, including AI, cloud, data, platform engineering, open source, finance technology and startup operations.

Global Chapters

Online ecosystem communities that connect practitioners across regions and bring related sub-communities together under one shared programme.

Conferences and Forums

Flagship summits, senior forums and specialist conferences designed to create deeper content, stronger sponsorship value and more focused technical conversations.

Partners and Sponsors

Ecosystem-level opportunities for partners to support relevant communities, contribute speakers, host events and build long-term relationships with technical audiences.

Our Network

Twenty-six communities. One connected practitioner ecosystem.

Trusted by industry leaders.

Call for Speakers

Practitioners on stage, not just presenters.

If you have shipped something, learned something hard, built a platform, led a migration, adopted AI, improved developer experience, contributed to open source, or made a decision that mattered, that is a talk worth giving.

What Ecosystem Partnership Actually Means

Beyond logo placement.

Sponsorship at Community Stack is structured around access to communities, not visibility at events. Partners join curated dinners with senior practitioners, get speaker pipeline introductions, participate in roundtables shaping the year's content themes, and gain reporting on engagement across the portfolio rather than attendance at one event.

We work with a deliberately small number of partners per ecosystem so each relationship has the room to do real work. Most partners stay with us across multiple years and multiple ecosystems. That continuity is the point.

What This Is Built to Become

Practitioner infrastructure, at the scale the industry now needs.

Twenty-six communities is the start, not the destination. Over the next three years the portfolio will expand into more domains, more regions, and more conference formats, but always under the same operating model: practitioner-led, theme-aligned, curated rather than scaled, reinvested rather than extracted.

We are building this because the next decade of technology will run on the trust networks communities create. The question is whether those networks are built as infrastructure, or left to chance.

Get involved in the ecosystems shaping what comes next

Whether you are a practitioner looking for your community, a speaker with lessons worth sharing, or a partner who wants to support technical ecosystems responsibly, there is a place for you in the Community Stack portfolio.
