What Makes This a Portfolio
Five ecosystems, eighteen communities, one operating model.
Not a Network of Independent Groups
Most community networks are collections of independently-run groups that share a brand. This is not that. Each community in the portfolio belongs to one ecosystem deliberately, runs to shared standards, and benefits from shared infrastructure, speakers, sponsors, operations, and discovery all flow across the network without the audiences blurring.
Meaningful for Everyone in It
Practitioners see consistently curated content. Speakers get repeat opportunities across themed stages. Sponsors engage with coherent audiences rather than scattered events. And the communities themselves get the operational backbone that lets them grow without breaking.

Why the Audience Looks Like This
Curated, not scaled.
Theme-Aligned
Communities are practitioner-led rather than vendor-driven, attracting people who build for a living.
Curated Selection
Speaker selection is curated, not pay-to-play. Content is reviewed for technical depth before it reaches a stage.
Quality Over Quantity
We grow more slowly than communities optimised for headcount. The benefit is that the room is consistently full of people who ship.

What Ecosystem Partnership Actually Means
Beyond logo placement.
Sponsorship at Community Stack is structured around access to communities, not visibility at events. Partners join curated dinners with senior practitioners, get speaker pipeline introductions, participate in roundtables shaping the year's content themes, and gain reporting on engagement across the portfolio rather than attendance at one event.
We work with a deliberately small number of partners per ecosystem so each relationship has the room to do real work. Most partners stay with us across multiple years and multiple ecosystems. That continuity is the point.

What This Is Built to Become
Practitioner infrastructure, at the scale the industry now needs.
Eighteen communities is the start, not the destination. Over the next three years the portfolio will expand into more domains, more regions, and more conference formats, but always under the same operating model: practitioner-led, theme-aligned, curated rather than scaled, reinvested rather than extracted.
We are building this because the next decade of technology will run on the trust networks communities create. The question is whether those networks are built as infrastructure, or left to chance.
